WP4-T Dewpoint Potential Meter, the research
standard for measuring water
potential. It uses a chilled-mirror
dewpoint technique to measure the
water potential of a samples Commonly
used by seed producing companies for
water potential measurement of seed
germination, seed priming & seed borne
disease monitoring. It was also used
for leaf water potential study.

The Em5-type
dataloggers are 5-channel data collection stations that are
designed to monitor Decagon's sensors over an extended period of
time.
There are two Em5 models: model Em5, and model Em5R.
The Em5 is
the non-radio enabled data collection system. It interfaces with
up to five inputs, and uses an RS-232 cable (included) connected
to one of the channels to set the station id, time, date, scan
interval, and to collect data.
The
Em5R system has an added radio transceiver module, which
you can use to set the station id, time, date, scan interval, and
to collect data via telemetry.

Data Collection Em5 and
Em5R loggers provide a turn-key
solution for the ECH2O probes and our suite of other
sensors.
ECH2O probe - is a capacitance probe that
measures dielectric permittivity of the surrounding medium. In
soil, dielectric permittivity is directly related to the water
content.
Drain gauge - Combined with ECH O probes for the
measurement of total soil water balance.
Leaf wetness sensor - is designed to approximate the
thermodynamic properties of a leaf.
Soil Matric Potential Sensor - immediately tells you if
water is available for plant uptake or if the water will drain
from the soil. |

The Enterprise Watersnoop is
a significant step up in data logging capability from our Basic.
The Enterprise was designed for larger arrays of sensors needing
up to 32 units. You can build your Enterprise over time by
starting with a 8 or 16 port unit and adding additional port
modules in denominations of 8 and 16 interconnect port cards. The
Enterprise supports 2 wire AC/DC senors and 4 DC wire sensors with
an optional DC power supply providing 3-24 VDC or even your
special voltage. Of course there's all the usual accessories and
options from solar panels, large battery capacities, and
communications links to Microsoft Excel Plug-ins. Perhaps most
impressive is the Enterprise software that puts all the
information on sensor locations, farm and irrigation blocks into
GPS -GIS data base for use in other applications or decision
making processes. We think, as a consultant or grower, you'll like
the flexibility, sensor capacity and variety of things you can do
with it that you can't with anything else. |

The systems features a high quality design with user safety having the highest priority. The large sample chamber is machined from a single solid piece of high grade brass. The chamber heads have a unique multistart thread giving easy tightening.
This design also ensures that the chamber can never be pressurised unless the head is secure.
Each system is individually tested and certified by an independent test house, to twice its working pressure. A clear perspex shield and safety eye spectacles are provided with each system.

Plant water status console, this compact field model, complete with 5" vessel and g4 specimen holder, will operate with a pressure range upto 40 bar. It is equipped with a quick-connect coupling to the air supply bottle which is included in the set. Ideal for use in the field because of its compact size (18.5" x 14.5" x 7") and watertight housing. |
