The MaxiMet GMX200 is a compact, ultrasonic wind sensor that measures wind speed and direction with no moving parts for low maintenance and high reliability. It features a built-in 2-axis compass, optional GPS for true wind calculation, and supports multiple output protocols including RS232, RS485, Modbus, NMEA, and SDI-12. Designed for tough outdoor use, it’s IP66-rated, operates from –35 °C to +70 °C, and runs on low power (5–30 V DC), making it ideal for remote weather stations, marine use, and integration into data logging or SCADA systems.
