WindObserver 75

Gill WindObserver 75 – Extreme Accuracy, Built to Withstand Extreme Winds

  • High-speed wind measurement up to 75 m/s
  • WindObserver 75 RS422 output and configuration
  • Ultrasonic wind sensor for AWOS or MET systems

The Gill WindObserver 75 is a high-range ultrasonic wind sensor designed for precise measurement of wind speed and direction in extreme environments. Built from durable stainless steel and rated IP66, it operates reliably in harsh conditions such as offshore, aviation, and industrial sites. The sensor can measure wind speeds up to 75 m/s with full 360° directional coverage, providing accurate and maintenance-free performance thanks to its solid-state, no-moving-parts design. It supports multiple digital outputs, including RS422 and RS485, for easy integration with monitoring systems. With optional heating for cold or icy environments, the WindObserver 75 delivers dependable data and long-term durability for professional meteorological and environmental applications.
