IP66 marine wind sensor NMEA output
The Gill WindSonic M is a durable ultrasonic wind sensor designed to measure both wind speed and direction accurately without any moving parts. Built with a robust hard-anodised aluminium housing, it offers long-term reliability in harsh and marine environments. The sensor measures wind speeds up to 60 m/s and provides full 360° directional data, supported by multiple digital and analogue output options for easy system integration. With its solid-state design, IP66 weather protection, and optional heating for operation in extreme cold, the WindSonic M delivers dependable performance with minimal maintenance—ideal for meteorological, coastal, and industrial monitoring applications.
