The WindUltra is Gill’s ultra-compact, solid-state, 2-axis ultrasonic wind sensor designed for high-accuracy measurement of wind speed (up to 75 m/s or ~270 km/h) and full 360° wind direction, without any moving parts. It’s built to be tough: tested to high environmental protection standards (IP66, IP68, IP69k), with integral heating to handle temperatures down to about -40 °C. It’s lightweight (≈ 150 g sensor + pole-mount accessory) and offers fast, flexible mounting options (1″ or ~1.75–2″ pole mounts) for rapid alignment. Outputs include industry-standard digital protocols such as RS-485, MODBUS, NMEA, and SDI-12, making it suitable for marine, UAV / drone, smart city, renewable energy, and harsh environment monitoring applications.
